RUSSIAN FEMALE WRESTLERS TAKE GOLD AND BRONZE AT EUROPEAN CUP IN BULGARIA
2010-07-21The Russian female athletes won gold and bronze medals at the European Women Freestyle Wrestling Championship for juniors (athletes younger than 20) in Samokov, Bulgaria, RIA-Novosti reported.
Nadezhda Fedorova won gold in the weight class of 40 kg and Inna Trazhukova took bronze in the weight class 67 kg.
The Russian team comes first in the overall rating of the competition. The Russians won two gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals. The Championship will end on July 4.
